Florence, the jewel of Tuscany, is a city steeped in history, culture, and beauty. From its iconic Renaissance architecture to its world-class museums and galleries, Florence offers an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. Join me as we embark on a journey through this enchanting city, exploring its storied past and vibrant present.

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration of Historic Landmarks
Evening:
We Flew in from Paris(ORY) to Pisa(PSA) as there were no flights for the day after 6 pm to Florence(FLO). Landed in PSA, bought tickets at the airport counter called the PisaMover. Had connecting train to Firence Maria Novella station from there. You would also find Buses and Cabs. So, please book accordingly.Checked into our beautiful BnB and headed out for dinner at an Indian Restaurant called “Spice India”
Morning – Early Afternoon:
Begin your exploration of Florence with a visit to the iconic Duomo di Firenze, also known as the Florence Cathedral. Marvel at the stunning marble facade and climb to the top of the dome for panoramic views of the city. Visit to the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s masterpiece, David.
Afternoon:
Continue your journey through Florence’s historic landmarks with a visit to the Uffizi Gallery. Home to masterpieces by artists such as Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Leonardo da Vinci, the Uffizi is a treasure trove of Renaissance art that should not be missed.
For lunch, indulge in a gourmet panino at All’Antico Vinaio, a popular sandwich shop beloved by locals and visitors alike. Choose from a variety of freshly baked bread and mouthwatering fillings, then enjoy your meal al fresco in one of Florence’s picturesque piazzas.
Evening:
As the sun sets, take a leisurely stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s famous medieval bridge lined with charming shops and jewelry stores. Stop for dinner at a traditional trattoria, where you can sample authentic Tuscan cuisine and savor a glass of Chianti wine.

Day 2: Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano Day Trip with Lunch & Wine Pairing
Morning:
We got ready to board the bus near Santa Maria Novella stazione but as we kept following the google maps, we reached the wrong side of the wall of the station before the bridge where you would see cars and cabs. Keep in mind, Buses are on the other side of the station which has to be crossed under the bridge , so try to be there about 15 minutes early. Our Google Maps led us to the wrong side, and we missed the bus — we had to catch up by the next train to Siena!
When you arrive in the medieval gem of Siena, your guide will lead you through the picturesque streets until you reach the main piazza of the city – Piazza del Campo. Here, a professional city guide will meet the group to begin your walking tour. The guide will spend about an hour sharing fascinating facts about this incredible city, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit some of the most famous points of interest during the tour.
Late Morning – Early Afternoon:
San Gimignano is visible from close and far, with its unmistakable medieval “skyscrapers.” Sometimes called a medieval Manhattan, there are still thirteen towers intact in this perfectly preserved hilltop town. Your guide will lead you first to a famous panoramic viewpoint, where you can photograph the Tuscan countryside, and then through the ancient doors to the city. You also get to have lunch and taste the beautiful wines they have to offer.
Evening:
Upon arrival in Pisa, you’ll be led to the Square of Miracles, where the Leaning Tower, Cathedral, Baptistry, and Monumental Cemetery glow against the green lawns. This iconic site is truly breathtaking.
End of a tiring yet spectacular adventure.

Cinque Terre, meaning “Five Lands,” is a string of five colorful villages perched along the Ligurian coastline. Each village offers unique charm, from pastel houses to sparkling sea views. We explored the old towns, wandered through boutique shops, and enjoyed local hospitality.
